RECIPES 101! BAKING MINI SERIES: WEEK 3

Hello all!

This is the LAST post for my second collaboration! Can’t believe how quickly this collaboration also flew by! Make sure you check out week 1’s post right here! And Week 2’s post right here!

Also check out Sugar Smile’s blog, for her post for this week!

Let’s get started!

This week, i’m bringing to you, a simple vanilla cupcake recipe! This recipe can make up to 24 cupcakes.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 & 1/2 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 & 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 & 1/4 cups milk

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line cupcake pans with liners so you don’t have to do this later.

  3. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. In another bowl bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, and mixing until well mixed.

  5. Add flour mixture and milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour.

  6. Divide batter evenly among liners, filling each about three-quarters full.

  7. Bake about 20 minutes, rotating pan if needed.

  8. Cool and remove cupcakes from pan, and let cool completely.

For a frosted look, i used the below store brand bought frosting and spread it on top of the cupcakes. I also had little sprinkles laying around, so i just sprinkled them on top for extra color!

You don’t have to have frosting on your cupcakes if you don’t want to. You can serve/eat them plain just as well!

Hope you guys enjoyed this recipe and the entire series! We had a lot of fun collaborating on this and bringing it to you all!

Stay tuned for a few more collaborative posts, with other bloggers, coming up this week! 😀

Would love the feedback and support!
