Recipes 101! Baking Mini Series: Week 1

Hello all!

This is my first post for my second collaboration! We kicked off this collaboration last week  and today is the day we post our first recipes!

Be sure to check out Sugar Smile’s first post as well, on her blog, right here!

For this first post, i wanted to treat you all to a really simple recipe. Brownies are one of my favorite baked goodies, so i wanted to bring to you a simple recipe for this yummy desert!

This recipe only has 5 ingredients! ONLY 5! How simple is that?! Of course, you’re more than welcome to add changes, extra flavoring by adding chocolate chips or m&m’s to give it an extra boost, but i’m going to walk you through the simple plain brownie method here!

Ingredients:
½ cup flour
1 cup sugar
½ cup salted butter, melted
2 eggs
1/3 cup cocoa powder

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a baking pan.

2. Make the brownies:
In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar and cocoa powder. In another bowl, whisk together the butter and eggs. Add the egg mixture into the flour mixture, stir until well mixed.

3. Pour the mix into the pan, make sure it is all even throughout the pan to get nice even sized brownies.

4. Bake the brownies for 25 – 35 minutes, or until you feel it is done. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Cut into squares and serve!dc21db13b9bc385ce297bfcc321ecc09
