It has been awhile since i’ve done a style post! Fall is my favorite season in terms of fashion, so i treated myself in October to some new clothes for this time of year! I hadn’t bought any clothes since July, so it felt good to shop for clothing after so long!
Loft has become my new go-to store for work and non-work attire ever since The Limited closed down. I get the daily emails from Loft with their current promotions going on, and let me tell you, they always have some sort of discount going on. I LOVE IT! I don’t like buying super expensive clothing, but when I see a nice % off, it’s totally worth buying!
So this time around, I got myself three tops. One choker style sweater, one short sleeved fuzzy sweater, and one mixed media sweater top. All three tops totaled to around ~$30 each, when they were all originally priced at around ~$50-60 each. So I would say this was a steal!
In this blog post, ill just be featuring one of the sweater looks. Stay tuned to my Instagram to see the other looks!
This sweater caught my eye because of it’s chocker style. I don’t own anything like this, and i’ve seen this cut across neck/chocker style around recently, so I definitely wanted to see how this would be for me. Likewise, this was in black (one of my favorite colors) and was modest for my style. It didn’t seem too thick but also not too light, so it would be perfect for this season!
I bought it in the Petite style in size Medium. I can go between Petite M or S, so it really depends on what is available + how i’m feeling about the fit.
I paired this with new black booties I recently got from Famous Footwear and black leggings. It’s easy to wear to work as well as for a night out, and i will definitely be styling this with dark wash jeans to see how it turns out!
Let me know what you think of this look!

Also what’s the weather like where you are? It is straight up Fall here. Somedays it feels like winter though. We had a few days of 30 degrees (or so) temperatures, so it has been chilly! This week is in the 40-50s, but still windy and totally fall like. I’ve just been keeping warm in my coats, boots, gloves and sweaters. Stay warm, especially if you’re in the mid-west or north east of the country!
