My blog posts are becoming fewer and far between, anyone notice? It’s crazy how i went from posting 3-days-a-week to once a week, to now…once every two weeks or so. I don’t even mind it, because i let myself write as it comes naturally to me and don’t want to force posts when I don’t see the need for them!
Anyways, today’s post is a quick skin-care product review! I recently have been investing more time into my skincare routine, but am nowhere near what some other people are at!
Here’s 3-products I bought early August and have been loving since! All of these are my own opinions based on my experience!
- Kate Somerville Gentle Exfolikate – is the shower exfoliate i have been using! I actually had a sample size version of this from a few months back that i used before i bought the whole bottle. It is pretty pricey but a good size to last months! I only use it 2 times a week in the shower, it is green in color but not harsh at all. I rub it onto my face in my T-Zone area especially, and let it sit for a few minutes before washing off.
It leaves my skin feeling really smooth after my showers which I love! I had never used a proper exfoliant prior to this, so i’m glad I found myself a keeper.
- Sephora Clay Mask – Green – these are new I believe (or at least i had not seen them in stores prior to my August trip!) And i love these so much more than the regular face sheet masks Sephora has. The packaging is nice and squeeze-able making it easy to push this product out and control how much you’re getting from it. Also it says up to 4 uses – but let me tell you, i’ve used this more than 4 times already and i have plenty left!
So this will last you as long as you take to get through the bottle. I put this all over my face again and leave on for 15-minutes. This totally feels even better than the Kate Somerville Exfoliant in the shower because this is one of those products that you can instantly feel the gunk from your skin lift off once you wash your face! I was so in love with it the moment i tried it and will definitely repurchase this since it’s only $8!
- And lastly, First Aid Beauty – Facial Radiance Pads were used on me during my cousins wedding when i got my makeup done! These i use much less frequently, mostly in between days when i don’t shower and/or when I am about to do a full face of makeup, as a hydration piece prior to applying makeup.
60 Pads come in one can, and they’re quite moist and clean up the skin well. They are not harsh smelling nor in feel, so it’s a great product for sensitive skin as well!
And that’s all for now folks! I love doing mini-reviews, i do plenty of these on my Instagram page, like maybe once a month or so. So follow me there for more product reviews! Felt like sharing it more in depth on the blog today, since it’s been a minute since i’ve blogged!
Let me know what you guys think and if you’ve ever used any of these products yourself!
Until next time, XOX
