Palette’s Galore!

Hola!

So last week I was online shopping on Macys.com because I had a gift card, and I came across an eyeshadow palette i really liked! I had actually seen it in person because my cousin owns one, and it has so many more colors options than my regular palette’s, so i decided to buy it!
Since I had a gift card for $25, i was able to get it for a reasonable price and I just received it in the mail yesterday!

Now one thing you should know about me, i’m obsessed with eye makeup. Lol i have big eyes, and so when I do eye makeup, it always is very prominent on my face. Over the years, i’ve been able to practice a lot on myself and my sisters, so I think i do a pretty good job of it.

Anyways, I decided to buy this palette:Β 2694833_fpxΒ here is the link as well to check out the sale going on right now for this at Macys:

So I own 3 lipsticks from Smashbox, which I LOVE, so i decided to buy a palette by them as well to see how it would be! I’m so happy that this palette has colors like greens and blue’s which i lacked before owning this.

Now since i’m obsessed with eyeshadows, i already own 2 palette’s in addition to this! LOL! I’m crazy. My first palette was a gift last year, the Naked 2 palette. I know so many people own it and I would def recommend it for a starter palette since the colors are pretty nude-ish and glittery, so they are easy to wear with anything.hqdefault
My second palette was a birthday gift from my sisters this past November, and this one is my favorite so far! Let’s see if the Smashbox one can beat it. lol. It’s the Lorac Pro palette. The colors in this one are so pigmented and i think they actually show up better on my eyes than the Naked palette eyeshadow’s do. So lately i’ve been regularly using the Lorac palette for everyday looks.

So i cant wait to use this new Smashbox palette! I’m going to start wearing it to work and see how it is and then of course start using it when i go out or to events and stuff. I also love mixing and blending colors between my palette’s to create different looks, so i’ll def be doing that with my smashbox as well!

Let me know if you have any experience with this Smashbox palette, would love to hear how you use it and what you think of it. Or if you own the Lorac or Naked palette, would love to hear anything on those as well!

  1. I go through phases in which I’ll buy palettes, decide that’s enough eyeshadow for me and then go a few years without buying any more.

  3. Love this post! Im obsessed with buying palettes and anything to do with eye makeup as well. Last year I went crazy buying Too Faced palettes from Sephora and those were pretty pigmented. I have yet to try Lorac and Naked palettes though. How did the smashbox palette turn out? I’d love to know πŸ™‚

    1. Haha! Same! Oh i havent tried the too faced one, would you recommend it??
Def try the lorac and naked, i would highly recommend them! Smashbox palette is nice, its really good because it offers a lot of color choices, which the Lorac and Naked lack, so i love that about it the most!

      1. The Too-faced ones are terrific, they have such beautiful colors and they have great pigmentation. I love how each palette has themes; the bridal one is my favorite. I will definitely try out lorac and smashbox though. I’d try Naked but theres a lot of nudes in there, I like the greens and purples and blues more.
